AssalamuAlaikum and Eid Mubarak.

I am pleased to confirm that after an early morning inspection, it has been decided that barring any last minute difficulties,the Eid Ul Adha Salah (2024) will be offered outside at Pond Lane Ground, Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2RH.

We aim to start the salah on time so please ensure you arrive early.

BAYAN: 9.15am
SALAH: 9.30am

May Allah accept the good deeds performed by Muslims throughout the world including ourselves during the first 10 days of dhul Hijjah. (Ameen).

And do not forget to make arrangements for Qurbani/ Udhiyah if it is compulsory upon you.

TIMINGS
Bayan start:9:15am
Eid Jamaat: 9:30am

PLEASE NOTE

1) Make Wudhu at home

2) Please bring a prayer mat, black bin liner and shoe bag carrier with you – in case of no space on the tarpaulin, we advise laying the prayer mat on the bin liner.

3) Park legally and in a manner not to inconvenience others.

4) Please follow all the instructions and directions given by the Masjid volunteers.

VENUE in the event of bad weather: Worthing Masjid, Ivy Arch Road, BN14 8BX

Please call Imam Idris (07875540605) if in doubt about the venue. Alternatively, you can check our Masjid Facebook page or the Masjid website to find out the final decision. This is usually made at around 7am on Eid day.

There will be 3 Jamaats at the Masjid if the weather is bad:
No jamaat in the Masjid if the weather is good and we offer Eid Salah in the park.

1st Jamaat: 08:30am (English Bayan at 08:15am)
2nd Jamaat: 09:30am
3rd Jamaat: 10:30am

Please note: Parking spaces on Ivy arch road are very limited and we request attendees to park sensibly elsewhere.

Sisters are welcome to attend and there will be a separate space for them, whether indoors or outdoors.

Once the Prayer area is full, the Masjid doors will be locked. Late arrivals will have to wait for the next Eid Jamaat. This applies to both the men’s and ladies prayer areas.

May Allah grant a joyous and spiritually uplifting Eid to all the Muslims around the world and may he accept our Udhiya/ Qurbani (Ameen).
