AssalamuAlaikum and Eid Mubarak.

I am pleased to confirm that after an early morning inspection, it has been decided that barring any last minute difficulties,the Eid Salah will be offered outside at Pond Lane Ground, Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2RH.

It is likely to be chilly so I advise that you wrap up warm.

We aim to start the salah on time so please ensure you arrive early.

BAYAN: 8.45am
SALAH: 9.00am

Please make sure that you park legally and remember to pay your Sadaqatul Fitr before salaah.

May Allah accept the good deeds performed by us and Muslims throughout the world during Ramadhan and today (Ameen).

EID SALAH VENUE in the event of good weather : Pond Lane Ground, Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2RH.

TIMINGS
Bayan start: 8:45am
Eid Jamaat: 9:00am

PLEASE NOTE

1) Make Wudhu at home

2) Please bring a prayer mat, black bin liner and shoe bag carrier with you – in case of no space on the tarpaulin, we advise laying the prayer mat on the bin liner.

3) Park legally and in a manner not to inconvenience others.

4) Please follow instructions and directions given by the Masjid volunteers at all times.

5) Please ensure that Sadaqatul Fitr is paid before Eid Salah. The recommended amount is £5 per person (Including for women and children)

6) Funds will be collected for the Masjid development. Planning application for this has now been submitted to the Council.

EID SALH VENUE in the event of bad weather: Worthing Masjid, Ivy Arch Road, BN14 8BX

Please call Imam Idris (07875540605) or Chairman Ali Rahman (07873707296), if in doubt about the venue. Alternatively, you can check our Masjid Facebook page or the Masjid website to find out the final decision. This is usually made at around 7am on Eid day.

There will be 3 Jamaats at the Masjid if we do not offer Eid Salah outside:

1st Jamaat: 08:30am (English Bayan at 08:15am)
2nd Jamaat: 09:30am
3rd Jamaat: 10:30am

Please note: Parking spaces on Ivy arch road are very limited and we request attendees to park sensibly elsewhere.

Sisters are welcome to attend and there will be a separate space for them, whether indoors or outdoors.

Once the Prayer area is full, the Masjid doors will be locked. Late arrivals will have to wait for the next Eid Jamaat. This applies to both the men’s and ladies’ prayer areas.

Finally, we make duaa that Allah grants a joyous and spiritually uplifting Eid to all Muslims around the world (Ameen).

MASJID DEVELOPMENT FUND COLLECTION AT WORTHING MASJID ON 28th MARCH 2025.

Assallamu’alaikum Everyone.

On Jummuah, Friday 28 March 2025 we will be doing a collection in our Masjid. The monies collected will specifically be designated to our Masjid Development Fund.We have now submitted our planning application for the expansion of our existing premises. As we all know, we desperately need more space and better facilities. This expansion is going to need lots of money.We are starting now to raise funds for this project.

So please donate generously.

On Jummuah, Friday 14 March 2025, a Charity called Human Relief Foundation (Charity Reg. NO.: 1126281) is coming to do a collection in Worthing Masjid. They will be collecting for the suffering people of Palestine. The funds will be used to provide tents to the people of the Gaza Strip. Please donate generously.

On Jummuah Day, Friday 7 March 2025 a Charity called 13 Rivers Trust (Charity Reg. No.: 1161219) is coming to do a collection in Worthing Masjid. The monies collected will be put towards their Muslim Burial Fund. This fund will be used to bury “Muslims-In-Need” with dignity and in accordance with their wishes and their faith.

Assalamu Alaikum,

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Saudi moonsighting authorities have confirmed that they HAVE sighted the moon this evening (Fri 28th Feb), which means that Taraweeh Salah will be offered from tonight.

The 1st taraweeh in our Masjid is at 8.00pm.
The 2nd taraweeh is at 11.00pm, Sun to Thurs and 11.30pm on Fri and Sat.

Thereafter, The 1st fast will be tomorrow (Sat 1st March).

Please do not park in the kuhr Engineering Car Park next to the Masjid as it will generate a parking ticket. They have not authorised us to use their car park at any time of the day or night this year.
