As per the WIS Constitution (Revised 2014), all WIS memberships are due for renewal on 1 st April 2023. Please be informed that membership subscriptions must be paid by 29th June 2023 to comply with clause 3.1 & 3.3 of the WIS Constitution (Revised 2014).

All members are requested to RENEW their membership as soon as possible.

New members are also most welcome to join.

DEEN RELIEF (Charity No.: 1158608) – JUMMUAH COLLECTION AT WORTHING MASJID ON FRIDAY 31 MARCH 2023.

Below is their message:-

“We at Deen Relief have launched our most recent campaign for which we are raising funds to support young Syrian children suffering from cancer. They are innocent victims of war who have arrived in Turkey desperately seeking treatment whilst battling for their lives with a life-threatening disease. Sadly, cancer is the cause of most deaths in war-torn Syria today and so there is an urgent need for help.Although treatment will be provided by the local hospitals, the recovery process will be extremely challenging without the necessary basic care provisions. Given the severity of this issue, Deen Relief plans to provide homes for these vulnerable children alongside with beds and food. This will provide the means for a more comfortable recovery while significantly improving the chances of surviving cancer.We are grateful of any donations to help this incredibly important cause.

Please kindly donate as much as you can to support these children during their difficult times and to give them a second chance at life.

On Jummuah Day, Friday 24 March 2023, a Charity called Human Relief Foundation is coming to do a collection in Worthing Masjid. They will be collecting for the poorest and the most needy people where ever they may be. The monies collected will be used to provide food packs during this blessed month of Ramadhan.

Deen Relief brings to you Medjool Jumbo Dates from the Holy Land of Palestine.
Some brothers from Deen Relief Brighton will be selling Medjoul Jumbo Dates outside Worthing Masjid on Friday 10 March 2023.

The contents of each 900g box have been cultivated by small farms.
Your purchase will support the hard-working farmers of this region whilst aiding Syrian refugee children who are fighting cancer.

Your purchase will not only allow you to take a box of beautiful dates home to your own family, but they may also be gifted to your other family members, your friends and their family members.

As well as being a beautiful addition to any Ramadhan table, opening your fast with a date will be an act of Sunnah.

Each box of delicious dates costs £14.

May Allah swt shower each of you with the blessings of this beautiful month of Ramadhan.

MASJID OPEN DAY FOR NON MUSLIMS AT WORTHING MOSQUE.

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

We are happy to announce a set of Dawah events in partnership with IERA. On Saturday 11th March, we will be running a Dawah training workshop for Muslim brothers and sisters.

This will run between 2 pm and 6 pm. On Sunday 12th March, we will have an open day in the Masjid for non-Muslims. This will take place between 11 am and 4 pm. Please spread the invitation to friends and colleagues.

This is an excellent opportunity to show, educate and propagate the beauty of Islam.
