CANTERBURY MASJID JUMMUAH COLLECTION AT WORTHING MASJID ON FRIDAY 24.02.2023 – Our brothers and sisters in Canterbury need our support.
Canterbury Masjid is the only Masjid in Canterbury and serves a diverse congregation of Muslims.
But in recent years it’s become clear that the current building is simply not big enough.
Every week on Fridays Muslims are forced to cram into corridors and out into the car park and surrounding streets. An ambitious extension project has now been launched to create a Masjid fit to serve the community for many years to come.
Insha’Allah, our brothers from Canterbury Masjid still need around £300,000 to reach their target. So on Friday 24.02.2023, they will be in Worthing for a collection after Jummuah.
Please come prepared to give generously. By helping to build a Masjid you’re building your house in Jannah.

LONELY ORPHANS JUMUAH COLLECTION @ WORTHING MASJID

Lonely Orphans (Charity Reg. Number 1171230) will be collecting funds at Jumuah Salaah.
Lonely Orphans works with Orphans, Widows and the most needy people in places like Bangladesh, amongst Rohingya refugees and the Uyghur too.

Jumuah Times from the 5th April 2024 at Worthing Masjid.
1st Jumuah
English Bayan: 1pm
Jumuah Salah: 1.25pm
2nd Jumuah
No English Bayan
Jumuah Salah: 2.00pm
Attendees will be allowed to enter the Masjid in accordance with arrival.
Once Masjid is full, attendees will have to wait for the 2nd Jamaat.
Due to safety concerns, Salah can not be offered in the parking area in front of the Masjid.
Please follow the instructions of Masjid Marshalls at all times.

At Jummuah on Friday 7 October 2022, brothers from Swansea Masjid (Welsh Islamic Cultural Association – Charity No.: 11313801) will be coming to do a collection in Worthing Masjid. They will be collecting for their Masjid Refurbishment Funds. One of the brothers coming on that day is Br Alex. His muslim name is Br Ahmad Musafir). Many of you may know him. He used to be in Worthing.

Please be informed that there will be two special collections for the flood victims of Pakistan this Friday. (9th Sep)
Firstly, We have invited Human Relief who have people working tirelessly on the ground in Pakistan to collect money so our brothers and sisters who have been affected can receive immediate help.
Secondly, there will also be a collection of clothes for Pakistan. Please note that the clothes must be in a useable condition and they must be donated in small plastic bags. Clothes will only be collected on Friday. Please do not bring thereafter.
I request everyone to be as generous with their donations as possible.
