HELP PROVIDE A CENTRE FOR WORTHING’S MUSLIM COMMUNITY FOR GENERATIONS TO COME
In recent years, Worthing Masjid has seen a huge rise in attendees! Alhamdulillah, every week at Jumma the congregation is overflowing.
Worthing Islamic Social and Welfare Society is grateful to be able to serve one of the most active, diverse and growing Muslim communities in the country, and to provide local non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn about and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction.
Due to the growth of the community (Worthing Masjid now caters to over 500 families in Worthing and the surrounding areas) it has become clear that the Masjid needs to expand if it is to continue to meet the needs of the local population for years to come.
To make this possible, we are setting up a fund to ensure we are in a position to expand and develop the Masjid, and potentially purchase a new space when one becomes available, where a fit-for-purpose Masjid can be developed to serve the community for generations to come.
Your donation today will help us grow the Masjid and prepare for the challenges ahead! Your generosity will ensure that Worthing Masjid can remain a hub for worshippers to congregate, meet and educate themselves now and in the future!
It will also enable us to jump at the next opportunity for a suitable plot of land where we can develop a state of the art Masjid to cater for every single member of this community.
