On Jummuah, Friday 8 August 2025, a Charity called Jamia Islamiah Bharan Sultanpur (UK Charity Reg. No.: 1209951) is coming to do a collection in Worthing Masjid. They will be collecting for their Islamic School in Bangladesh. The funds will be used to pay for their expansion project and for the day-to-day running of the School.

Bio of Shaykh Muhanna
Sh. Muhanna Alhubail studied Islamic law, Fiqh and the Arabic language.
He studied at the hands of Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh Mubarak. He then started his reasearches in the Islamic Fikr. He published many books, and hundreds of journal articles. His latest book, Fikr Al-Sirah was translated to multiple languages including English translation. The translated copy was launched by the Malaysian Ulama Association.
Ustad Muhanna participated in many Dawah and raising awareness lectures, activities and events worldwide. He is currently the Director of the Canadian Center for Intellectual Consultancy.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Due to the weather conditions, it has been decided that the Eid Ul Adha salah (2025) will be offered in the Masjid
There will be 3 Jamaats in total, In Sha Allah:
1st Jamaat: 08:30am (English Bayan at 08:15am)
2nd Jamaat: 09:30am
3rd Jamaat: 10:30am
Please note: Parking spaces on Ivy Arch Road are extremely limited, so we request attendees to park sensibly elsewhere.
Sisters are welcome to attend and there will be a segregated space for them inside the Masjid.
Once the prayer area is full, the masjid doors will be locked. Late arrivals will have to wait for the next Eid Jamaat. This applies to both the men’s and ladies’ prayer areas.
The Jumuah Salah will be offered as normal in the Masjid.
1st Jamaat: 1.25pm
2nd Jamaat: 2.00pm
May Allah grant a joyous and spiritually uplifting Eid to all the Muslims around the world and may he accept our Udhiya/ Qurbani (Ameen).

Eid Jamaat: 9:15am
PLEASE NOTE
1) Make Wudhu at home
2) * Bring a prayer mat, black bin liner and shoe bag carrier* with you – in case of no space on the tarpaulin, we advise laying the prayer mat on the bin liner.
3) Park legally and in a manner not to inconvenience others.
4) Please follow all the instructions and directions given by the Masjid volunteers.
5) There will be no Eid jamaat offered in the Masjid if the weather is good and Eid Salah is offered in the park.
6) In accordance with Hanafi Fiqh, Jumuah salah will be offered as normal in the Masjid.

Dear Respected Community Members,
On behalf of Worthing Masjid, we extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who generously donated food items to the Worthing Food Foundation. Your kindness and selflessness are prime examples of the beautiful teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who emphasised the importance of charity and caring for those in need.
In the spirit of Sadaqah (voluntary charity), your contributions not only provide essential nourishment for our brothers and sisters facing hardship, but they also serve as a means of drawing closer to Allah (SWT) and earning His blessings. Every food item donated is a reflection of your compassion and your commitment to helping others, as the Qur’an reminds us in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:267): “O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned…”
