Sheerwater mosque collection – 24th July 2026
Assalaamu Alaikum,
On Friday 24th July 2026, we are pleased to welcome brothers from Sheerwater Mosque to Worthing Masjid, where they will be raising funds for their Masjid Rebuild Project.
Sheerwater Mosque is embarking on an exciting project to rebuild its masjid, creating a larger and more accessible space to serve local families through worship, Islamic education, and community support for generations to come. This project will provide a welcoming environment where people of all ages can learn, pray, and strengthen their connection with Allah (SWT).
Supporting the building and development of a house of Allah is a blessed opportunity and a form of Sadaqah Jariyah—a charity whose rewards continue long after it is given.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
We kindly encourage our congregation to donate generously according to their means and help support this noble project. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring them one step closer to completing a masjid that will benefit the community for many years to come.
May Allah (SWT) accept your generosity, reward you abundantly, and place barakah in this worthy endeavour.

On Friday 26th June 2026, brothers from Bexley Islamic Centre (Charity No. 1211089) will be visiting Worthing Masjid to raise funds in support of their Masjid Development Project and current emergency appeals.
This is a valuable opportunity to contribute towards the growth and development of a house of Allah and support an important community project. We kindly encourage all brothers and sisters to donate generously according to their means.

Anaya Aid clothing collection – 12th June
Assalaamu Alaikum,
On Friday 12th June 2026, brothers from Anaya Aid (Charity No. 1152971) will be visiting Worthing Masjid with their collection van to receive donations of good-quality clothing.
Sisters: The masjid will be open for donations between 10:00am and 11:30am.
Brothers: Please bring your donations when attending Jumu’ah, from 11:45am onwards, ensuring all items are dropped off by 2:30pm.
Your generous donations will help support those in need, in shaa Allah.

After an early morning inspection, we are writing to confirm that Eid Salah will be offered at Pond Lane, Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2RH.
Please bring a prayer mat with you and make wudhu from home.
As it’s likely to be hot, please also bring your own bottled water to ‘stay hydrated’.
In Sha Allah, there will be a collection for the Masjid development project. Please donate generously.
