Saudi official moonsighting team have reported a negative sighting hence completing 30 days of Dhul Qi’dah.
Note the following dates:
1st Dhul Hijjah: Wednesday 23rd August
8th Dhul Hijjah/Start of Hajj: Wednesday 30th August.
Day of Arafah: Thursday 31st August
*Eid al-Adha/Yaum an-Nahr: Friday 1st September*
The first ten days of the month of Dhul Hijjah are great in virtue and it is from the Sunnah to increase in worship and good deeds; especially fasting on the Day of Arafah.
Abu Qutadah (ra) reports that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasallam) was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafah. He said, “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.” (Muslim)
May Allah accept the Hajj of all pilgrims and the efforts of all those at home.
NOTE: Eid falling on a Friday means we will have two Khutbas(Sermons)
One in the park and one in the masjid(1:10pm)
Inshallah on Thursday 24th August there will be an Eid party for all the madrasah students!

Mon – Thur 11.45 am to 1.45 pm.
Please drop off and collect your children on time.

The children’s Madrasah classes will restart on Monday the 3rd of July.

If intersted, please download and fill an enrolment form and bring it with you during class time.

Inshaa Allah Eid ul Fitr will be on Sunday 25th June 2017.
Weather permitting there will be 1 Eid Jamaat at Pond Lane Ground, Pond lane BN13 2RH.
In case of bad weather there will be 2 Eid Jamats in the Masjid.
1st @ 9.00am & 2nd @ 10.00am.
