Muntada Aid Collection tomorrow after Jummuah
Muntada Aid will be collecting for Cataract Operations in Niger, Uganda & Bangladesh. Niger is considered to be one of the poorest country in the world.
Last year with the support of the generous community they were able to provide 1700 operations alhumdullilah.
One operation costs only £70 which can provide the Gift of Sight 👁️ by the will of Allah.

This Friday, our brothers from Redhill will be coming to do a collection in Worthing Masjid to help finance their masjid expansion project. The community of Masjid ul Emaan is growing rapidly, which is causing issues with the space in their Masjid. Alhamdulillah they have been granted permission by the local authorities to extend the masjid to a second floor above the existing structure. This work will cost them in the region of 150k, with the help of their regulars and some local masjids they have been able to raise in excess of 45k. Please help them reach their goal. *New Madrasah Timings*
Dear Parents,
Assalamualaikum,
I am writing to inform you that Madrasah timings will significantly change from next week.
To ensure social distancing during the pandemic, we reluctantly made the decision to hold some of the classes in the main prayer hall downstairs. Now that winter is approaching and salah times occur during Madrasah times, we no longer feel it is advisable to continue using the downstairs hall for Madrasah classes as this will be in violation of our child safety and protection policy.
Therefore, to manage the ever increasing numbers, we have decided to try out a new system in which children will be attending with their groups three times a week.
I realise that these new timings are significantly different and every parent must decide whether it is suitable for their children to continue attending the Madrasah. There will be a strong expectation that all children who do continue will attend 3 days a week.
The new Madrasah timings will be as follows:
*Qaidah Children:*
Monday 4pm to 6pm
Wednesday 4pm to 6pm
Saturday 11am to 1pm
*Quran and Juz Amma Children:*
Tuesday 4pm to 6pm
Thursday 4pm to 6pm
Sunday 11am to 1pm
These timings will be reviewed during the half term break in October.
Please let me know if for whatever reason your children will not be attending Madrasah in the new term.
As always, our decisions are made keeping the steady progress, safety as well as the physical and emotional wellbeing of every child in mind.
