Assalamu Alaikum,

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Saudi Moonsighting Authorities, who our Masjid follows for Hijri dates, have announced that they will be offering Taraweeh Salah from tonight (Tuesday 17th February 2026).

Hence, the 1st taraweeh in our Masjid will also be offered tonight (8PM)

The late taraweeh is at 11.00pm, Sun to Thurs and 11.30pm on Fri and Sat.

The 1st fast of Ramadhan will be observed tomorrow (Wednesday, 18th February).

Please note that the Maghrib timings on the annual calendar are not correct and the breaking of the fast (Iftar) should be done in accordance with the Masjid website or the updated print out of Maghrib times that was distributed.

We are also pleased to announce that Kuhr Engineering, who own the car park next to the Masjid, have granted us special permission, during this Ramadhan only, to use their car park from Maghrib to Fajr time.

I request all attendees to park legally, sensibly and in an orderly manner at all times.

Finally, I make duaa that we all have a spiritually uplifting Ramadhan (Ameen).

Ummah Welfare Trust collection – 13th March

Assallamu’alaikum.

On Friday 13th March 2026, Ummah Welfare Trust (Charity No.: 1000851) will be coming to Worthing Masjid to do a collection.

The funds collected will put towards current emergency appeals, including for Syria and Sierra Leone.

Lonely Orphans (Charity Reg. Number 1171230) will be collecting funds at Jumuah Salaah.Lonely Orphans works with Orphans, Widows and the most needy people in places like Bangladesh, amongst Rohingya refugees and the Uyghur too.

After careful consideration, we have concluded that the Maghrib Times that we have been provided with this year for the Annual Calendar are not exactly accurate.

Please use the below timings instead.
